Zirconium is a very hard wearing abrasive for high stock removal applications. Ideal for grinding castings etc, it is used throughout various industries.
A good all round lower cost material. Best perforance is on unalloyed steels or non-ferrous metals. An example being Aluminium fabrication and Farriers grinding Aluminium horseshoes
