This tool is intended to help fit the guard to the ricasso and to keep it in position for soldering or other means of affixing the guard to the blade.
The pressure pad is elevated so installations of “S” style guards may be achieved.Machined from 4142 Alignment pins and locking set screws together with HT Alloy steel for precision guard fit ups.
